You know that a big part of staying healthy is following a healthy diet. The foods and drinks you enjoy could also have a great impact on your smile. As such, there are several foods and drinks you should avoid, or at least limit. For example, you should avoid drinking sodas and many juices. Luckily, there are other drinks you could replace them with.

You probably know that you should avoid sodas. Similarly, some sugary juices could also be bad for your pearly whites. While you may think sport drinks are a good option, they are commonly made with high fructose corn syrup, dyes, and salt—meaning they’re actually very similar to soda.

One thing you could do is replace these harmful drinks with seltzer. In essence, seltzer is carbonated water, so if you enjoy bubbly drinks, this may be the option you could consider. Seltzers usually have zero grams of sugar, making it a healthier alternative. And best of all, you can find flavored seltzer as well.

You can also consider the benefits of kombucha, which is a fermented tea loaded with healthy enzymes and probiotics. Many individuals enjoy this beverage, partially because it contains fruit puree, which gives kombucha a great natural taste. Kombucha is also carbonated, but is still better for your smile than soda.
